that Nansen poses the question fairly and he will wait for an answer. Is the cat
likely to die ? Perhaps it will escape from Nansen ? I don’t know.
20. Was the German honest asking his cat, did he know what he was asking
about and was he looking for an answer ? No. But he got it all the same:
a) He didn’t ask the disciple because there was no disciple there, but only the
cat? A Polish mother and a Polish child.
b) Did he care about the answer, than ? No. A cat can’t speak
