Military:
Made up of three, three digit numbers, none of
which appear sequential (the Cylon Wars are
379:834:534; Lee Adama born 432:979:021,
entered active service on 670:731:952, then did
basic training on 809:734:326, then Flight
Academy 834:663:523 & Combat Manoeuvres
851:067:521. There is a list of assignments
underneath which seem to show a massive error
in history as it shows Lee as being in the Cylon
Wars and all of the dates listed are before Lee
completes basic training (the last date is
779:529:521).
The rebellion of Roslin, where the ships take off
is dated 827:302:136. Scar is 020:320:060.
Thus there is no consistency in these dates. I
suspect that they are actually tied into a mission
or ship time date (one of the references has
hours mentioned after it). This makes sense to
a limited degree as various stations, planets and
ships all have differing time.
If you follow the New Caprica date then it

actually means the 2 day of the ninth month of

the 3454 year. What date that applies to is not
known. If correct then Pythia made her
predictions about 200 years before this date. It
might relate to the creation of the original Cylon
race and their acceptance as the thirteenth tribe.
I will assume that, until a thorough dating system
is explained, that this is the case.
Anyway, having done the math, and a bit of
mucking about, I ended up with this system:

Under this system Baltar would write the 8th day
in the 12th month as: 1st day of 3453-121, or in

dates with a numbering system in the twenty
thousands! That dating system does not show
up anywhere else in any of the series (nor does
the one below). Based on the latter the following
dates apply:

Execution Time:
On the execution document of Baltar, the date is
given as day 2 of 3454-90. Day 794 after the fall,
(494th day since settlement, 134th day of
occupation):
I’m stretching wildly here (but there so is the rest
of the fan base, so that’s not a surprise.) If I
assume that the front date is the year, the
second date is an amalgam of both month (not
ninety but nine out of 13,
not
twelve) and the
week of the month. Each week is then seven
days and there are four weeks to each month
(days, weeks and number of days in a year is the
only thing we are sure of).
In addition this is the only date that fits relatively
closely into the documented history of the
Colonies, dating back to Kobol.
