About the Author
Hi, my name is Rayner Teo.
I’m not a multi-millionaire trader, I don’t drive fancy cars, and I don’t live in a
penthouse.

Swing Trading Checklist
Introduction
The idea of swing trading is to capture “one move” in the markets before the price
reverse against you.
This is done by entering your trades from an area of value and exiting it before the
opposing pressure steps in.
Here’s what I mean:
Swing trading checklist:
1. Are you entering from an area of value?
2. Do you have a valid entry trigger?
3. Is your stop loss away from market structure?
4. Is your target profit within a reasonable reach?
5. Do you know how to manage your trade?
6. Are you risking a fraction of your capital?
7. If you answered yes to the above, then take the trade.
Area of value can be Support & Resistance, Moving Average, Trend Line, etc.
Entry trigger can be Engulfing Pattern, Hammer, Shooting Star, False Break, etc.
Stop loss can be 1 ATR away from Market Structure, Swing High/Low, etc.
Target profit can be at swing high/low, Support & Resistance, Fibonacci extension, etc.
