Greets to all! =)

This is Dan Grandpre (a.k.a. Basehead), just writing up a file to tell
you a bit about myself for Gryzor's cd-rom module project.

I'm 19, living in Connecticut, U.S.A. (in the northeast), and have not
attended college yet. I'm looking to go into the Berklee College of
Music in Boston, Massachusetts, next year or so!

I started out on the C-64 scene in the late 1980's, and enjoyed it
greatly.. i did a few musics (SIDs under the name Mystic or Mystik or
XYZ), but nothing much, really. Then i progressed to the Amiga 1200 for
about 2 years, and then to the PC in 1991 or 1992. I started composing
with a horrible program called KingMod in April 1993, and started my
first real "tracker" music in April 1994, and have been composing ever
since then.

In September 1995, i took a break from scene composing which is still in
effect. I don't know if i will ever track for the scene for fun again,
and i have not had much of an urge to do so.. soon enough, i will be away
at college, busy and happy, hopefully..but i will always remember how
great the scene has been.

I have a great respect for the four-channel MOD musicians of the amiga
scene, and would like to pay a greeting to some of the ones included on
these cd-roms, most especially: dizzy, heatbeat, audiomonster, jester, etc.
and all the other musicians who helped inspire me to do my own music!

Greetings also to my best PC buds: Necros, Khyron, Aahz, Heatwave, Ryan
Cramer, Leviathan, Siren, etc. etc. for their friendship over the years..
and shouts to Dune, Jugi, and the rest of the euros for their great tunes.

At the moment, i'm involved with a commercial game-music group called
Straylight Productions, which consists of myself, necros, leviathan, and
siren. For a resume and any additional info, feel free to mail myself
(address given below) or necros (necros@axs.net).
