Groups and : Stuff : Deadline--->Kefrens--->Silents--->Lemon./Crusaders---> : Melon Dezign. ...but ofcourse, Once a Crusader, : always a Crusader! I have been doing music on Amiga since 1989, even though I am not sure I can classify the first attempts as music. Anyway, I had some great fun during my 5 - 6 years as an active member of the scene. (I was somehow often to be found at the big parties with my pants down :). I have now more or less stopped my activity in the scene, but it still amuses me to check out what the remaining dudes such as Dizzy, Vinnie, Groo and Nao comes up with these days. I will probably come back in the PC-scene in some months, and then hopefully I'll be "comin' on strong"! The reason for me 'jumping off' the scene can more or less be blamed on my working situation. As mentioned, I am now working for Funcom where I compose music and create soundeffects for our games. After coming home from work I am not really in the mood for making more music, and so I came to the point where I decided to sell my Amiga. The reason why I am doing music? I guess it started when I was young. In 1986 I was together with my partner the Norwegian Champion of Sports Dancing. (Ballrom and Latin). My mother had more or less forced me till I was 10, but after that it started to get fun. A lot of traveling back and forth to England and Denmark gave me the time to listen to some real good music, and I guess the rhythm kind of stayed within my blood after I quit in 88, and somehow got transformed into musical vibes?? I dunno!! Nevertheless... I enjoy what I do now, and couldn't imagine being in another situation. When it comes to my modules on this CD-rom, I must say that they do not in any way represent what I am doing today, but since I think this is a cool project, I allowed myself to put on my nostalgia-hat. ENJOY THE CRAP! (if you can). I prefer to work with MIDI, and feel that I have reached quite far since Bj?rn Lynne showed me the simple basics some years ago. (Thanks again, man!). I started with Music-X on the Amiga, but I am now really addicted to Cakewalk for PC. (I also use Cubase sometimes). Since I am working in this software firm, I have had the pleasure of buying a lot of really cool MIDI-equipment, and therefore I sometimes choose not to go home in the evenings... (if you understand what I mean). (N?r nettene blir lange..osv.). I have been thinking of releasing a CD (since it has become sort of a fashion these days) but time has been stopping me, as always. But IF I do, I'll let U know through diskmags and stuff... Well, enough about me... Now go and check out some of my homies... Jogeir, Vinnie, Groo, Soul, Lizard, Ukulele, Dr.Awesome, Lizardking, etc... Thanks! Kim M. Jensen ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Thanks to Y-O-U, Jason!! =) ...aahhh 'Helmet for Sale'...
