CTsoft - Commander SK, Unidrive opis.txt

(4 KB) Pobierz
CTSoft is a Windows based drive commissioning program that allows the complete control and display of all parameters within Control Techniques' Unidrive Classic, Unidrive SP and Commander SK ranges of drives.

CTSoft provides the user with a graphical interface that is logically split into a series of screens offering quick and easy viewing and, where appropriate, the ability to edit parameter values. Individual detailed parameter information can at any time be displayed showing the parameter function, type and range of permitted values.

The drive's parameter set is split up into a series of related groups referred to as ?menus?. Many of these menus have an associated graphical block diagram which may be displayed and used interactively within CTSoft. The relevant pages from the drive and option Advanced User Guide can also be displayed by simply clicking any parameter on any displayed list or block diagram view.

As well as listings and diagram views, a variety of other functions are provided to enable the maintenance of a drive's parameter set; these include configuring analogue and digital I/O references, uploading and downloading all drive parameters, saving and reading parameter sets from disk and comparing the drive's parameters to a disk file or default values

Features
Listed below are the main features of CTSoft:

Going Online
CTSoft can operate in two communication modes: ONLINE and OFFLINE. In the online mode the PC can be connected via a serial cable to the serial port of the drive or by CTNet or Ethernet hardware. Data from the drive may then be displayed in real time, and parameters written or read. All read / write parameters are available for alteration. Any changes to drive parameter values are represented within CTSoft. When CTSoft first goes online with a drive, the drive and option module's firmware versions will be checked. The operation of CT Soft is then tailored to match the database version present within that particular version of firmware.
When offline, CTSoft opens up with a default representation of the drive parameter set. The user is then able to begin tailoring the parameters to suit the intended application. A backup file of this modified parameter set is created for download to the drive when the user finally takes CTSoft online. This parameter file has the fixed name UserDataAutoBackup; it can be found in the Parameter Files branch of the navigation/explorer window. The user can then reload this file as a parameter set for download to the drive. If the only difference between the saved parameter file and the drive is the firmware, then this reload will be done automatically.
Parameter Listing
The parameter list gives a display of the parameter sets available within specific menus (categories) of the drive. All of the menus may be displayed within this screen in text format.

Block Diagram
Many of the menus available within a drive have a logical control flow diagram, graphically indicating to the user how the menu parameters interact. CTSoft allows the user to view any changes. When CTSoft is online, the graphics held in the block diagrams change to reflect the drive settings.
Monitoring
This screen allows the status of motor parameters to be displayed on 7-segment displays for high visibility quick reference. The user can change any of the monitored parameters by clicking a small icon by each display.

Setup Wizard
For the Unidrive SP and Commander SK, a step-by-step wizard helps the user set-up the basic settings of the drive such as the motor details.

Compare Listing
The compare feature provides a comparison report of CTSoft parameters in memory against a user saved parameter file or database defaults and highlights any differences.

Custom Listing
A custom list is a set of parameters selected by the user from any drive menu, which is useful for monitoring purposes.

Working with Parameters
The complete drive parameter set can be saved to disk for either back-up or cloning purposes, and loaded back in at a later date.

Terminal Configurations - Analogue and Digital
These screen provide the ability to configure various settings of a drive's analogue and digital I/O.
