Explore
The parishes
St. Helier
St. Helier is the capital of the island.
The cosmopolitan harbour town is
bustling with life, shops, restaurants,
bars, and galleries.
St. Saviour
One of the eastern parishes, St. Saviour
is mainly residential with a very small
coastline named Le Dicq, home to local
favourite Dicq Shack Thai.
St. Clement
South easterly St. Clement is the
smallest parish on the island.
Its coastal road highlights iconic
coastal defences including
Seymour and Icho Tower.
Trinity
Trinity occupies the north east of
the island, and is known for its rural
landscapes. It is home to the world-
famous Jersey Zoo, and the highest
point in Jersey - Les Platons.
St. Peter
St. Peter is the only parish with two
coastlines, intersecting both St. Ouen’s
Bay and St. Aubin’s Bay. St. Peter’s
Valley is in the heart of the parish,
a leafy valley with a stream and an
ancient mill from the 13th Century.
St. Lawrence
St. Lawrence parish occupies the
centre of the island. The parish
is mainly inland and home to
‘Hamptonne’ a 15th Century house and
farm with animals, tours and a cider
apple orchard.
Grouville
Tucked in the south east of the island
is Grouville, a quaint parish with a
beautiful sweeping coast, the Royal
Bay of Grouville and the Royal Jersey
Golf Club.
St. Martin
The most easterly parish,
St. Martin is made up of a number
of picturesque villages including
Gorey, Rozel and St. Catherine.
St. John
Situated on the north coast, St. John
boasts epic views from its cliff tops.
Rural and open it is one of the least
populated parishes on the island.
St. Brelade
In the south west of the island stands
St. Brelade, most known for its beach
culture: the sheltered sandy bays of
St. Brelade, Portelet and Beauport and
a special fisherman’s chapel
“La Chapelle ès Pêcheurs.”
St. Mary
In the north west of the island is
St. Mary. The rural parish is home
to Devil’s Hole complete with
stunning views of the north coast
and the striking Moulin de Lecq pub,
housed in a 600 year-old water mill.
Plémont
St. Ouen
The largest parish in the island,
occupying the north west of the island,
St. Ouen is open and coastal with far
stretches of both the north and west
coast and plenty of refreshing salty air.
